Stroke treatment begins the moment emergency medical services (EMS) arrives to take you to our hospital. Once you are at the hospital, you receive emergency management, treatment to prevent another stroke, rehabilitation to treat the side-effects of stroke, or whichever is required. If you get to the hospital within 3 hours of the first symptoms of an ischemic stroke, you treatment begin the type of medicine

called a thrombolytic (a “clot-busting” drug)(tPA) which is the gold standard treatment for ischemic stroke.to break up blood clots.

and spinal cord injuries (SCI). The Neurotrauma care center of the Pinnacle institute of neurosciences, Department of Neurosurgery has neurosurgeons who are
specifically trained and equipped to diagnose and treat all types of neurotrauma.
